"account": "The Los Angeles Clippers have re-signed six-foot-five, high-upside versatile wing Cam Christie just 48 hours after releasing him, according to reports from The Sporting News. The move comes after the Clippers waived the 46th pick of the 2024 NBA Draft, who had been unable to secure meaningful playing time during his two-season tenure with the team. Christie, who recently turned 21, was signed to the Clippers' standard rookie contract. However, the opportunity to sign a two-way deal after clearing waivers allowed both parties to agree on bringing him back. This decision provides the Clippers with an additional opportunity to develop Christie and potentially see him earn a larger role within the organization.",
"summary": "The Los Angeles Clippers made an interesting move on Friday. The organization brought back a familiar face after just waiving him.",
