"account": "Today's gold rates in India are as follows: 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 14,766 per gram, 22 carat gold at Rs 13,535 per gram, and 18 carat gold at Rs 11,074 per gram. This marks an increase of Rs 22, Rs 20, and Rs 16, respectively, compared to the prices on October 16. Purity-wise, the rates for 10 grams are Rs 14,766 for 24 carat, Rs 13,535 for 22 carat, and Rs 11,074 for 18 carat gold. Across major cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad, the rates remain consistent, with Chennai and Mumbai showing the highest rates for 24 carat gold at Rs 14,766 per gram. Tensions in West Asia have further impacted the gold market, with the disintegration of a 60-day maritime armistice between Iran and the US leading to renewed military operations and heightened maritime risks. This instability has driven a safe-haven rally in precious metals, contributing to the surge in gold prices.",
