"account": "Augsburg, Germany - The imminent Ballon d’Or ceremony is fast approaching, and Harry Kane of FC Bayern München may secure the award over Lamine Yamal, marking a fitting climax to an extraordinary 18 months for the England captain. Even if Kane falls short of the prize to Barcelona’s Yamal or Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé, he will remain fully committed to Bayern’s forthcoming matches, particularly after the club's recent 2-2 draw with Augsburg and 3-3 draw with Viking FK in the Champions League. Despite these disappointing performances, Kane showcased his form with two assists in the Augsburg match and two goals in the Viking FK tie. However, the lingering issue of his contract with the club dominates the narrative. Though there have been reports of a deal being agreed upon, the timeline for an official announcement remains uncertain. Bayern Munich is eager for confirmation before the ceremony, which is scheduled for the 26th, just a day after their away match against SC Freiburg and two days prior to their DFB-Pokal encounter against FC Magdeburg.",
