"summary": "The Eleme community in Rivers State, Nigeria, is demanding emergency action following a gas pipeline explosion that destroyed over 50 houses and injured more than 20 people. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, triggered panic among residents who fled for safety, while the injured were rushed to hospitals in Port Harcourt. The Chairman of Eleme Local Government Council, Chief Obarilomate Ollor, has called on the federal government to declare an emergency in the area and direct the Nigeria Gas Company to investigate the incident and assess the condition of the pipeline. Ollor expressed concern about the recurring incidents along the same pipeline corridor, raising suspicions about the deteriorating infrastructure.",
