"summary": "White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia is departing her role after a tenure lasting only a few days, according to a White House official on Friday. Zacharia, who succeeded Karoline Leavitt, started the position on Monday and held her first briefing on Tuesday. Her departure follows scrutiny regarding her resume and a lackluster performance during her inaugural press briefing.\n\nPresident Donald Trump told reporters that he had suggested Zacharia reconsider the position, stating that he told her he was not sure she could ever be happy in the role. While a White House official told AFP that Zacharia was \"transitioning\" out of the position, The Korea Times reported that she was let go. CBS News described her departure as a dismissal following controversy over her legal credentials and performance.",
