"account": "President Donald Trump has put off the implementation of new sanctions against Russia, signing an executive order on Friday to waive the measures for national security reasons. In his directive, released by the White House, Trump stated that he has submitted a certification to Congress confirming that waiving the sanctions at this time is in the best interests of the United States. India, a significant purchaser of Russian oil, was among the nations expressing concern about the Russia sanctions bill. The White House move follows Trump's announcement a week prior that the US had agreed to purchase diesel from Russia in an effort to lower global energy prices, a decision that could negatively impact Ukraine's ongoing war against Russia. The decision was officially notified on the White House website late in the evening, with a note indicating that the explanatory report had been submitted to Congress. Further updates on this evolving situation are expected.",
