"account": "White House press secretary Katie Zacharia has resigned her position after less than a week on the job, according to a source familiar with the matter. Her departure comes amid questions about her professional background and her ability to handle press inquiries. President Donald Trump expressed doubt about her future, telling reporters he would discuss her situation following his weekend travel and suggested she reconsider the role. Zacharia, a Pepperdine University law graduate, faced criticism for her lack of formal legal credentials, despite describing herself as a lawyer during her first briefing. She also struggled with her halting remarks during her first press conference, leading to widespread criticism. Trump suggested she may want to reconsider the job, stating he believed she would be happier elsewhere. Zacharia plans to have dinner with Vice President JD Vance and his family on Friday evening.",
