"account": "North Korea claimed on Saturday to have carried out an underwater test of a new precision-guided torpedo, marking a significant advancement in its naval capabilities, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). The test involved the deployment of the Zam-2.0 super-speed precision-guided torpedo weapon system, which was carried out on Thursday to validate the successful technical enhancements of the weapon. While the details of the weapon were not disclosed, key national defense officials overseeing the test declared it a resounding success, believing it would usher in a significant transformation in the actual development of the Navy. The KCNA stated that artificial intelligence (AI) technology was employed for target detection and guidance functions of the torpedo. The test also demonstrated the core technology for enhancing propulsion efficiency and rocket propulsion device performance. Over the past five years, more than 180 rounds of related tests have been conducted. North Korea has been actively striving to bolster its naval capabilities through a series of weapon tests.",
