"account": "The Department of State Services (DSS) has apprehended Faisal, the son of former Pension Reform Task Team Chairman Abdulrasheed Maina, in Abuja and transferred him to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Intelligence sources revealed that Faisal had secretly returned to Nigeria, prompting the DSS to track and arrest him in the Karsana area of Abuja. Faisal had been evading capture since 2020 following his arraignment by the EFCC on charges of money laundering. Maina's son was convicted in October 2021 and sentenced to 14 years in prison for allegedly operating a fictitious bank account with the United Bank for Africa to launder N58.1 million between October 2013 and June 2019. The Court of Appeal reduced his sentence to seven years in November 2022, acknowledging that the trial court erred in imposing the maximum sentence on a first-time offender.",
