"account": "A GoFundMe campaign has been established to assist Kaylub Giamanco and his family following a tragic school shooting in Oregon. On October 15, 2026, the 36-year-old carpenter intervened during an attack at Silver Rail Elementary School, putting his life on the line to stop the shooter. The fundraiser notes the family is facing \"an incredibly difficult road ahead\" and that the gunning at the school \"forever changed lives\" for the community of Bend. Giamanco, a father to two daughters aged 5 and 10, has called Bend home since middle school and will receive support for trauma-informed therapy, mental health care, legal expenses, lost income, and daily living costs as per the GoFundMe page. The page also urges people to remember the families who lost loved ones and those undergoing a long recovery.",
