"summary": "The Department of State Services (DSS), the military, and the police have arrested five suspects linked to the abduction of 20 prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in Imo State on October 1. The suspects were apprehended in a series of intelligence-led operations between October 10 and 14 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and Aba South Local Government Area of Abia State. The victims were abducted along the Owerri–Onitsha Expressway while en route to their orientation camps in Abia and Akwa Ibom states. They were rescued on October 7 during a joint security operation in Amakohia Ubi Village. Three other suspects escaped with gunshot injuries, prompting a widespread manhunt. This significant development has brought relief to security agencies, who are confident the perpetrators will face justice.",
