"account": "Gabby Williams, the standout forward for the Golden State Valkyries, has received significant attention from fans and teammates alike, especially following her impressive performance during the 2026 WNBA season. Despite this newfound adoration, the 2018 No. 4 overall pick by the Chicago Sky isn't particularly interested in the media's sudden interest in her. \"The media’s never respected me,\" Williams stated, emphasizing that her admiration is reserved for those who have genuinely supported her, including ex-teammates, opponents, and friends. She highlighted the heartfelt gestures from players she’s known personally, such as hugs and supportive messages, which have touched her deeply. While the main stream media may not be aware of her achievements, Williams’ stats speak for themselves: a significant improvement in scoring (up from 11.6 to 14.4 points per game), rebounding, and playmaking during her time with the Valkyries. The team is set to face the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA Finals, which begins on Saturday.",
