"summary": "Prime Minister Mark Carney traveled to Alberta on Friday to make a final plea for voters to reject separation from Canada ahead of Monday's independence referendum. According to Global News, Carney joined Premier Danielle Smith at a brewery to advocate for staying in the country. During his tour, Carney spoke at a Forever Canadian rally in Calgary on Thursday, where he stated that while frustrations in Alberta are real, Canada operates through co-operative federalism. He described a vote against Canada as a dangerous bluff that could result in years of lost opportunities.\n\nIn Red Deer, Carney met with business leaders and Premier Smith, according to National Post and Global News. Global News reported that Carney characterized the current moment as being at the best and worst of times, citing globalist policies as a threat but noting the potential for unprecedented growth and success. Meanwhile, in Calgary, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre expressed understanding regarding separatist disillusionment but argued that leaving the country is not the solution.",
