"account": "Donald Trump stated on Friday (Oct 16) that he did not order a curtailment of Starshield services for Ukraine, following reports that the White House had asked SpaceX to reinstate the reduced service. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Wednesday that the Ukrainian government had reported restrictions to the Starshield system, which Ukraine relies on for battlefield communications, mid-range strikes, and interceptor drones. SpaceX operates both the military-grade Starshield and the civilian Starlink satellite systems. The Ukrainian president attributed the restoration of Starshield services to his administration's request to SpaceX, following a message from the White House to the satellite provider. Relations between the United States and Ukraine have been strained recently, with Trump urging Zelenskyy's replacement after the Ukrainian leader criticized a US deal allowing increased Russian diesel imports.",
