"account": "Indian national Deepak Sandhu, a student visa holder, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 28 years on Friday for the murder of Chinese woman Xiaoqing Ke, whom he met at a brothel in Southampton. The jury at the Old Bailey took only two hours to convict Sandhu of the murder and perverting the course of justice. Sandhu, who denied the charges, claimed to be a model and actor during his relationship with Xiaoqing, a mother of two, who discovered he had lied and stolen £500 from her handbag. After ending the relationship, Sandhu relentlessly pursued Xiaoqing, ultimately seeking revenge. Footage from Xiaoqing's Airbnb showed Sandhu arriving at her residence, wearing a scarf over his face before leaving after approximately 90 minutes. The police discovered Xiaoqing's body the next day, confirming that she died from stab wounds. Sandhu attempted to flee to Mumbai on a one-way flight but was apprehended on December 12 while traveling on a coach from Southampton to Birmingham Airport.",
