"account": "A.F. Steadman's debut adult fantasy novel \"TimeLess,\" the first book in a forthcoming sci-fi/fantasy trilogy, is being pursued by Amazon MGM Studios, United Artists, and Heyday Films for a potential movie adaptation, according to a source. TheWrap learned exclusively about the negotiations between the studios and Steadman, who also plans to serve as executive producer. United Artists Studio head Scott Stuber and Nick Nesbitt will produce the film alongside Heyday Films' David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford. United Artists overseeing producer Annie McCreery will take charge of the project. \"TimeLess,\" set to be published on March 11, 2027, follows a group of assassins, historians, and weapons experts who are trained to live outside linear time and protect history from time vandals. As they engage in a centuries-long war, protagonist Artemis uncovers that the enemy she was trained to destroy may be the key to her forgotten past and a conspiracy that could unravel time itself. Simon & Schuster acquired the trilogy rights in a worldwide deal for coordinated U.S., U.K., and Australian releases. The novel sparked bidding wars in 11 territories, following its successful sales in 45 territories and translation into 48 languages. Steadman's \"Skandar\" series garnered the biggest children's fiction debut launch in the U.K. in 20 years before its publication. At United Artists, Stuber is currently in post-production on \"Highlander,\" starring Henry Cavill, and preparing for Dwayne Johnson and Benny Safdie's \"Lizard Music.\" Heyman has produced all eight \"Harry Potter\" films, the \"Fantastic Beasts\" series, and has worked on major films such as \"Barbie,\" \"Gravity,\" \"Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood,\" \"Paddington,\" \"Paddington 2,\" and \"Wonka.\"",
