"account": "Nicolas Cage has been rumored to join the cast of the fifth season of True Detective for over a year, quixotically confirmed at New York Comic-Con. Now, according to multiple outlets including Deadline, Antonio Banderas has also been added to the ensemble, potentially as a new partner or nemesis. The series, set to be produced by Season 4 writer/director Issa López, features Cage in the role of Henry Logan and Banderas as Rai Garcia. Both characters are likely to be detectives. The location for this season of True Detective is Jamaica Bay, New York. Production is set to commence in 2027. Cage made his television debut earlier this year in the Prime Video/Marvel Comics series Spider-Noir, while Banderas previously starred in Nat Geo’s Emmy-nominated anthology series Genius. For more details, revisit Jodie Foster's comments about her role in True Detective Season 4.",
