"account": "The African Democratic Congress (ADC), the presidential campaign council, has accused Rabiu Kwankwaso, the running mate from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), of supporting Peter Obi, the NDC candidate, for his own personal ambition. Kola Ologbondiyan, the ADC's Director of Media and Publicity, stated that Kwankwaso's commitment to Obi or the opposition's goal of defeating President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 election is not genuine. This statement came in response to Kwankwaso's demand for the ADC's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to withdraw from the race. Kwankwaso explained that he had contacted some Fulani groups to persuade Atiku to step down. Ologbondiyan labeled Kwankwaso's comments as reckless, self-serving, and a desperate attempt to further Tinubu's political interests before the 2027 presidential election. The ADC-PCC's response highlights the growing belief among Nigerians that Kwankwaso's support for Obi is motivated by personal ambition rather than a sincere dedication to the opposition's collective aim of unseating the APC.",
