"account": "The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticized the Vice Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, for suggesting Atiku Abubakar, the ADC's Presidential candidate, step aside for Peter Obi. ADC's Director of Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, described Kwankwaso's statement as reckless and self-serving, claiming it was an attempt to benefit President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's political interests ahead of the 2027 presidential election. Ologbondiyan argued that Atiku would win Kano State, Kwankwaso's home state, regardless of his support, pointing out the severe economic issues facing Nigerians. He suggested that Kwankwaso's focus on Atiku rather than criticizing President Tinubu's administration demonstrated a lack of genuine opposition, and that his political actions might be geared towards securing his own position in the 2031 election rather than addressing current challenges. Ologbondiyan accused Kwankwaso of being part of a familiar strategy by the ruling APC to sow discord within the opposition, and alleged that Kwankwaso's history of political maneuvering prioritizes personal ambition over the collective interests of opposition parties.",
