"account": "Washington Post journalist Heidi Levine was injured on Friday after being attacked by a group of Israeli settlers in the West Bank. The incident occurred near the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, while Levine was on assignment gathering the autumn olive harvest. The attack involved dozens of masked Israeli settlers who targeted Palestinian villagers and Levine herself. Levine, a US citizen, was wearing visible markings indicating her status as a journalist. Despite wearing protective gear, she was pushed to the ground and kicked by the attackers. She is currently in stable condition at the hospital. The Washington Post called for a thorough investigation into the incident, expressing outrage over the unwarranted attack on a journalist doing her job. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office stated that the facts surrounding the confrontation remain unclear and are under investigation. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that both the IDF and the Israel Border Police responded to the scene and condemned the violence, emphasizing that such actions undermine security in the region. The US condemned the criminal violence by any party in the occupied West Bank and offered consular assistance to Levine. Foreign press association and international press watchdog Reporters Without Borders also condemned the attack and called for accountability for the perpetrators.",
