"summary": "US President Donald Trump stated at the White House that Saudi Arabia should accept an offer from Israel to assist in the fight against the Houthi rebels in Yemen. Trump told reporters that Israel has been very helpful to Saudi Arabia and expressed confidence that the kingdom would likely accept such assistance. According to the Jerusalem Post, Trump also suggested that efforts to include Saudi Arabia in the Abraham Accords could be revived, noting that the accords could gain momentum \"perhaps now more than ever.\"\n\nMiddle East Eye reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made the offer of help through US mediation, partly to strengthen ties with the kingdom. However, that outlet notes that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman opposed the move due to fears of backlash from the Saudi public.\n\nSeparately, the Saudi Civil Defense has urged citizens and residents to stay safe as thunderstorms and flooding are forecast to continue across most regions until Wednesday. The National Center for Meteorology expects moderate to heavy rainfall, flash floods, and hail in the Makkah region, affecting areas such as Taif and Al-Laith, while the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha may also experience flooding and strong winds.",
