"account": "The DP World India Championship, currently underway at Delhi Golf Club, presents spectators with a unique blend of golf and history. As players take their swings, striking white tombs with domed tops emerge from the trees, standing as monuments to Delhi's regal past.\n\nFounded in the 1930s, Delhi Golf Club's course was meticulously designed through dense forests using elephants, following the ruins of ancient structures. The club, now accessible to the general public only during the tournament, is home to over a dozen historical monuments. Notably, the 17th-century Lal Bangla tombs and those from the 15th-century Lodhi Dynasty grace the fairways.\n\nClub president Raj Khosla emphasizes the \"magnificent scenic beauty\" and \"uniqueness\" of this golfing experience, combining \"a wonderful course\" with \"monuments that bear testimony to an age of glory.\" This is the second year for the DP World India Championship, marking the 17th event hosted by the DPWT in India. The tournament has drawn top-ranked golfers, including Rory McIlroy and defending champion Tommy Fleetwood. Todd Kelly, an assistant managing editor at Golfweek, highlights the juxtaposition of golf and historical sites as a defining feature of the championship.",
