"account": "Daniel Seavey, the American singer-songwriter, took the stage at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on August 22 for a performance of his new single \"Love's a Gun.\" This marked his first time performing in the city, which he described as a \"crazy first time.\" Seavey was set to headline the 2026 TIMA Honors in Hong Kong alongside other artists such as Stray Kids, aespa, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and Charlie Puth.\n\nPrior to the performance, Seavey spoke with Billboard about his experiences and thoughts on the music industry. He reflected on opening for Benson Boone's 2024 tour, a period he described as \"rocky\" and filled with uncertainty about his future in music. Seavey praised Boone as \"the sweetest dude\" he had met in the business, noting how Boone's positivity and enthusiasm for life rekindled his passion for making music. Seavey credited the tour with opening his eyes to the fun and excitement that music can bring.\n\nIn addition to his excitement about his own career, Seavey expressed a desire to see more of that same exuberance in today's music. He mentioned Prince and a Latin artist, who he believes is set to participate in Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami, and mused that today's music lacks the \"whimsy and fun\" that these artists exemplified. Seavey expressed his desire to channel this same energy into his own music and even jokingly mentioned the possibility of collaborating with Pitbull, calling it a \"dream collab or moment on stage\" when he would wear a bald cap on stage during a Pitbull show.",
