"account": "Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Mahama Ayariga, officially launched a steering committee for the Accra Green and Clean City Initiative on Friday, October 16. The initiative aims to enhance sanitation and foster environmental sustainability within Ghana's capital city. Ayariga emphasized that achieving a cleaner Accra necessitates a collective effort, effective coordination, and ongoing action beyond governmental endeavors. He noted that a cleaner Accra demands more than mere good intentions; it demands collective commitment, effective coordination, and sustained action. The government-backed initiative intends to unite public institutions, communities, and citizens in promoting improved sanitation practices and fostering a healthier environment. Ayariga stressed that the responsibility of maintaining a clean Accra should not solely fall on the government, advocating for active involvement from all segments of society. Through this initiative, the government aims to bolster collaboration and encourage shared responsibility for preserving a cleaner, greener, and more environmentally sustainable Accra.",
