"account": "If you're eager to be the first on your block to own an iPhone Duo, you'll have to wait much longer than originally anticipated. The estimated ship date for the device is now set for January 25, more than three months away from the start of preorders. This shipping delay is the longest for an iPhone in recent history, surpassing previous delays for models like the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone X. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the main reason for this delay is supply chain issues, with the Duo proving to be a more complex device to manufacture than usual. Some components have experienced high failure rates during production, limiting the number of devices that can be completed. Fortunately, there are alternatives to purchasing directly from Apple. Major carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are offering preorders with shorter estimated delivery times, ranging from October 23 to December 4. Retailers like Best Buy also provide preordering options with similar timeframes. For those who prefer to see the phone in person before buying, the US Apple store launch is scheduled for October 23. Despite the challenges, the iPhone Duo remains an enticing option for those who desire a foldable device.",
