"account": "Manchester United's head coach Michael Carrick defended Lisandro Martínez during a press conference on Friday, addressing the Argentine's fiery remarks directed at the club's technical director Jason Wilcox and their summer transfer signings. The criticism came after United's loss to Atlético Madrid on Tuesday. Martínez later admitted that his comments were misguided following talks with senior club officials, including Carrick. However, the comments have raised concerns about internal division within the team and whether players harbor grievances about the summer's transfers. Carrick, though, maintains that the club's current issues are not accurately represented by outside pundits and former players. He stated, \"Just because people talk from the outside, that doesn't mean it's the truth.\" Carrick also commented on the team's recent form, noting that \"the squad today in training was in a fantastic place.\" United, having suffered their worst start to a season in 40 years, currently sit 13th in the Premier League with just one win from their six matches. Carrick, refusing to take individual credit or blame, emphasized that \"it's not about me; Manchester United is bigger than an individual.\"",
