"account": "Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has raised concerns about the party's prolonged absence from government in the region. According to Alli, this prolonged absence has prompted the APC to make a concerted effort to reclaim the state's political power in the upcoming 2027 election. The APC candidate made these remarks during the inauguration of the Oyo State chapter of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, an event held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan. The gathering was attended by a large number of APC chieftains and party members. Alli urged party members to prioritize the party's interests so as to secure the next government in the state from 2027. He also appealed to eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). In his address, Alli stated, \"We have stayed out of government in Oyo State for too long, and we are working assiduously to ensure we take over the government in 2027.\" He further added, \"We want to assure you that not only are we going to get Mr President re-elected, we will also ensure that we elect all our National Assembly and state House of Assembly members.\"",
