Her investigative series, The Devi Show, concluded its six-year run on eTV and eNCA on Sunday, 11 October 2026. In a video message preceding the finale, Govender expressed that she had been contemplating her exit from linear TV for some time and described the show's six-year run as \"mission accomplished.\" She acknowledged the shift in audience preferences towards online platforms and the need to be present where her viewers are. The last episode of The Devi Show showcased Govender's fifth on-screen confrontation with recurring subject George Webb. All 24 seasons of the show remain accessible for streaming on YouTube and eVOD. Although Govender has not explicitly disclosed her next venture, she hinted that she will continue to ask challenging questions and that her future endeavors are likely to be more dynamic.",
