"account": "FIFA’s Peace Prize, bestowed for the first time on US President Donald Trump in 2025, may soon be discontinued, according to a report from The Athletic. The decision to assess the award’s merits lies with a 22-member FIFA Social Responsibility Committee, set to meet before the December FIFA Council meeting in Doha. The committee could mandate the award’s discontinuation or restrict it to non-politicians. FIFA President Gianni Infantino, facing criticism over his secretive investment plan for the World Cup, apologized at the Zurich meeting for \"mistakes\" in his plan. The Folarin Balogun red-card case, where Trump intervened to rescind a player’s card, has also fueled calls to oust Infantino, who is seeking re-election. European delegates expressed disappointment over the lack of clarity on these issues during the meeting.",
