"account": "Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick insists he is telling the truth when he maintains the club has moved on from Lisandro Martinez's controversial post-match remarks. Wayne Rooney, a close friend and team-mate of Carrick, led the condemnation of Martinez, who expressed discontent with United's management following their Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid. Notable former United managers Roy Keane and Gary Neville also commented on the incident among numerous analyses. Martinez apologized for the timing of his comments, which inadvertently highlighted director of football Jason Wilcox, but not for the content of his words. In a pre-match media conference at United's Carrington training ground, Carrick stated, \"There's a lot of people who say a lot of things - ex-pros or not ex-pros - it doesn't necessarily mean they understand what is going on here. Just because people talk on the outside doesn't mean that is the truth. I am telling you the truth.\" The squad was in a strong position, better than Carrick had seen in a long time, and they remain emotionally invested in their collective journey. Martinez will continue to be part of the squad for Sunday's Premier League match against Leeds at Elland Road.",
