"account": "Google is expanding the rollout of a fix that brings back the missing network signal icon in Android Auto, a feature that had left drivers in the dark about their phone's cellular reception. The issue arose when an update removed the icon back in the month, preventing users from checking their cell signal status on their car screens. The solution appears to involve a combination of app updates and server-side flags, meaning a complete fix for all devices might take several weeks.\n\nRecent reports from Reddit users indicate the network signal icon has returned on their in-car displays, only to vanish as suddenly as it appeared initially. Drivers using various vehicle infotainment systems and phone models are now seeing the familiar signal indicator join the battery and Wi-Fi icons in their device's status bar. This welcome change should provide relief to those who were left guessing about their phone's connectivity while on the road.",
