"account": "Championship newcomer Richard Thomas-Asante has received backing from his new manager, West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Lampard, for his potential in the Premier League. The 26-year-old, who has been promoted along with Coventry City to the English top flight, impressed Lampard with his work ethic, adaptability, and determination. Thomas-Asante's rise through the English football system has seen him play for National League clubs Ebbsfleet United and Sutton United, before establishing himself at Salford City in League Two. His performances at Salford earned him a move to Championship side West Bromwich Albion, where he continued his progression before joining Coventry. Lampard highlighted Thomas-Asante's commitment to training and his hunger to improve as key factors behind his progression. The former Chelsea and England midfielder also praised the forward's physical presence, technical ability, and effectiveness when holding up the ball, qualities that could aid Coventry in their pursuit of Premier League success. Thomas-Asante's versatility in attacking positions—able to play on either flank, behind the main striker, or as a central forward—adds flexibility to Lampard's attacking lineup. The manager emphasized Thomas-Asante's willingness to adapt to different responsibilities and his readiness to contribute wherever needed. This career progression exemplifies the importance of persistence, hard work, and a willingness to improve for aspiring players in lower divisions, offering an inspiring example for those outside the top football echelons.",
