The 23-year-old replaces England’s Aneurin Donald, who has been called up by England to play in the T20I series against Australia in November and December. Nawaz previously helped the Vipers secure the Season 4 title and is set to return to the team after his successful performances in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Caribbean Premier League (CPL) this year. He scored 291 runs at a strike rate of 134.1 in the PSL and added 220 runs for Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in the CPL, where he was the joint top-scorer.
