"summary": "Preschools in Singapore will remain open even if schools close due to hazardous levels of air pollution, according to Education Minister Desmond Lee. The decision to close schools or transition to home-based learning is based on the 24-hour PSI readings and hourly PM2.5 levels. If the 24-hour PSI forecast for the next day is 300 and above, MOE, MSF, and ECDA will encourage parents to keep infants and young children at home. Special education schools and student care centers in primary and secondary schools will also remain open to accommodate students who do not have alternative care arrangements.",
