"account": "According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, YouTube is reportedly in discussions with publishers to incorporate audiobooks into its YouTube Premium service. The feature could potentially be unveiled as early as next year, though Google has not officially confirmed the information. Unlike existing audiobooks on Google Play Store, which require individual purchases, YouTube is reportedly considering bundling audiobook access within its Premium subscription. This move would provide an additional incentive for users to opt for Premium over the more economical Premium Lite plan, which offers fewer perks. The inclusion of audiobooks could also help justify the recent price hikes for YouTube Premium. Currently, YouTube offers podcast support through YouTube Music, allowing Premium subscribers to listen to podcasts online or offline. However, Premium Lite omits music access, although it retains ad-free podcast listening. With the addition of audiobooks, YouTube aims to compete more directly with Spotify, which already offers audiobooks through both a standalone plan and its Premium subscription. Spotify has recently expanded its audiobook service to over 180 markets and introduced features like Page Match, enabling users to photograph a page from a physical book and seamlessly continue listening to the corresponding audiobook segment. Should the reported plans materialize, audiobooks could become an integral component of YouTube Premium, joining music, podcasts, and ad-free video content.",
