"account": "Sony has officially announced that the Xperia 10 VI will not be receiving the Android 17 update. The company cited \"technical limitations related to the device's storage configuration\" as the reason for this decision. Despite having promised three OS updates upon launch, Sony has only initiated the rollout for Android 17 to its flagship Xperia 1 VIII. The omission of the Xperia 10 VI from the list of eligible devices has raised questions about Sony's commitment to the phone. Sony has now confirmed via their website that the Xperia 10 VI, launched in 2024, will not be updated to Android 17, stating that the technical limitations due to the device's storage configuration prevent it from delivering an Android 17 experience that Sony deems suitable.",
