"account": "Nurul Syazwani Noh, the Permatang assemblyman for Bersatu, recently received a show-cause notice from the party's disciplinary board for attending the Umno general assembly on September 11. The notice alleges that her presence breached the Bersatu code of ethics and conduct and tarnished the party's good name. Syazwani, who denied the allegations, stated that she attended the event in her personal capacity, not as a Bersatu representative, and that she was invited. She also mentioned that Bersatu has never issued a circular prohibiting members from attending events hosted by other parties. Syazwani pointed out that her father, a former Umno leader, rejoined the party in August, and that the political bureau of Bersatu allowed assemblymen in Pahang to support the state's menteri besar, Umno vice-president Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, in August. She contends that any disciplinary action should be in accordance with the party's constitution and procedures. Syazwani, who resigned as the information chief for Wanita Bersatu in March, remains a Bersatu member but has yet to decide her next political home. She emphasized her respect for her voters' mandate in Permatang and her commitment to serving out her term.",
