"account": "The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is actively seeking global partnerships and investments to reduce the costs associated with the Hajj pilgrimage and enhance the management of pilgrims' funds. NAHCON Chairman, Amb. Ismail Abba Yusuf, emphasized this during the 8th International Hajj Fund Forum 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Yusuf highlighted the importance of digital transformation and stronger collaboration among Hajj institutions to achieve these goals. The NAHCON aims to expand investments in hospitality, logistics, and other infrastructure within the Hajj value chain, aiming to lower accommodation expenses while ensuring sustainable returns on pilgrims' funds. During the forum, Yusuf underscored the significance of multi-agency alignment and robust digital frameworks in safeguarding the Hajj ecosystem from global financial volatility. He stressed that managing Hajj funds efficiently is crucial for protecting wealth and ensuring sustainable benefits for future pilgrim generations.
