"account": "The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Samuel Erale, has ordered a comprehensive investigation into the fatal shooting of a young man known as Don Cross and the subsequent attacks on community leaders in Okpara Inland, Ethiope East Local Government Area. The incident reportedly occurred on October 12 and triggered violence, with property destruction and attacks on leaders. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, a drug raid conducted by individuals from an unidentified security outfit led to the shooting of Don Cross, who later died while receiving treatment. Miscreants exploited the situation to incite violence against community leaders and destroy property, including setting two vehicles ablaze and damaging the residence of the community's President-General. CP Erale conducted an assessment of the affected areas upon his visit and directed police operatives and military personnel to restore law and order. He condemned the violence, urged those involved to come forward for investigation, and emphasized that no grievance could justify vigilante justice.",
