"account": "Milwaukee Brewers announcer Jeff Levering paid a fitting tribute to the late Bob Uecker during the final National League Championship Series call on October 15. Levering, who took over as the primary radio broadcaster after Uecker's passing before the 2025 season, delivered a perfect homage to Uecker in his description of the game-winning pitch by Aaron Ashby to Kiké Hernández. Levering's enthusiastic exclamation, \"Oh my God, the Brewers win the pennant!\" bears a striking resemblance to a line Uecker famously delivered as Harry Doyle in the 1989 comedy \"Major League\" when Cleveland secured the championship. If the Brewers advance to the World Series, which currently features Cleveland, this tribute may take on even greater significance. Levering joined the Brewers' radio team in 2015 and collaborates with Lane Grindle and Josh Maurer on the air. Uecker, who passed away at 90 in January 2025 following a battle with small-cell cancer, was a cherished sports figure in Wisconsin and left behind a celebrated legacy.",
