"account": "TORONTO (AP) — In a thrilling overtime victory, the Buffalo Sabres rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 on Thursday. Owen Power scored the game-winning goal in overtime, capitalizing on a feed from Jack Quinn to send the puck past Toronto goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky with just 3:14 remaining in the extra period.\n\nKirill Marchenko had a hat trick for Toronto, his fifth career hat trick, in his 300th NHL game. Marchenko's third goal, taken at 16:51 of the second period, extended the Maple Leafs' lead to 4-2. Jack Quinn contributed two goals for Buffalo before Dennis Gilbert and Mattias Samuelsson scored in the third period to tie the game at 4-all.\n\nUkko-Pekka Luukkonen made 26 saves for the Sabres, who were trailing by two goals at the start of the third period after being outshot 15-8 in that frame. Auston Matthews also scored for Toronto, while Buffalo goaltender Bobrovsky stopped 29 shots.\n\nPower was acquired from Columbus on September 28, just before the season began. Marchenko had only scored once for Toronto before his performance on Thursday. John Tavares, the former Toronto captain, had two assists before he left the game early in the third period after colliding with Buffalo forward Josh Norris, who appeared to favor his left leg as he exited the ice.",
