"account": "President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that the execution of former Army psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan, who killed 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009, would proceed as scheduled with a firing squad, but the event would not be streamed live. This decision reverses a Pentagon plan to broadcast the execution, the first military execution in the US in over 65 years. Trump stated that while streaming the execution could serve as a deterrent, many people would prefer not to witness such an event, either through streaming or other visual means. The victims' families could attend the execution in person if they choose to do so. Trump also blamed the Obama administration's FBI for missing warning signs about Hasan's radicalization and criticized the agency's assessment of Hasan's emails as not being a threat, calling it a \"key intelligence failure\". The plan to stream the execution drew criticism from both parties, with some arguing it could feed Hasan's desire for martyrdom.",
