"account": "Des Catellier, once a young quarterback for the Manitoba Bisons, has caught the attention of many with his promising career path. This comes as Cody Fajardo, now the starting pivot for the Edmonton Elks, reminisced when Catellier joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders for the CFL QB Internship Program in 2019. Fajardo, who is the Elks' current coach, noted Catellier's proficiency in the playbook and his ability to demonstrate plays during the 2019 camp.\n\nCatellier, a native of Calgary, finished his university career in 2022 as the Bisons' all-time leader in passing yards (7,721) and touchdowns (51). Despite initial interest from the Calgary Stampeders, he chose to join Dave Dickenson as a quality control coach, eventually joining Kilam in 2025. As Kilam's head coach, he brought Catellier with him to the Edmonton Elks.\n\nCatellier has found a passion for coaching, especially special teams. Observing his passion and progress, Kilam remarked that Catellier is a \"real one… He's a guy that's intrinsically motivated.\" Special teams coach Catellier's innovative 'Triangle of Death' concept, designed to pressure opposing returners, has been embraced by the team. Players rewarded with 'TOD' T-shirts for their efforts during special teams play.\n\nDespite his rapid rise in the coaching world, Catellier remains humble and focused on growth. He credits his time in Manitoba with preparing him for a successful career in the pros.",
