"summary": "Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has warned that Boko Haram and ISWAP continue to pose major security threats. According to Punch Nigeria and Punch, the governor has urged security chiefs to intensify their efforts against these groups.\n\nIn a separate legal development, Justice Salim Ibrahim of the Federal High Court in Abuja sentenced Abba Mustapha and 41-year-old Bukar Ibrahim to life imprisonment and an additional 20 years each. Daily Post Nigeria reports the men, both from Borno State, were arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) and pleaded guilty to providing logistical support to Boko Haram and concealing information.\n\nThe sentencing occurred during a phase of mass trials of suspected terrorists conducted by the Federal Government. Daily Post Nigeria notes that several other judges are handling these cases, which are part of a broader judicial exercise to promote social justice and transparency.",
