"summary": "WACOT Limited and the Edo State Government have renewed their partnership to boost local fertiliser production and improve farmers' access to agricultural inputs, with the aim of strengthening food security. The agreement, which began in 2017, covers operations at the Edo State Fertiliser and Chemical Company Limited in Auchi, reinforcing its role in supplying specialised fertiliser blends to farmers across Nigeria. WACOT Limited's President, Sadiq Kassim, highlighted the strategic importance of the Auchi facility to Nigeria's fertiliser industry and food security, noting that it is the only plant in the South-South with the capability to produce tailored, crop-specific fertiliser blends suited to the region's soil requirements.",
