"account": "The Seattle Seahawks are set to bolster their special teams unit ahead of an important Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos. The team has promoted wide receiver and special teams gunner Irv Charles, as well as linebacker Jimmy Ciarlo from the practice squad. Both players will make their debut appearances for the Seahawks.\n\nIrv Charles, who was acquired from the New York Jets in May, missed the first five games due to a knee injury sustained while on injured reserve. He was activated to the active roster on Tuesday, although he was later released to make room for running back Velus Jones Jr. As a veteran player, Charles is not subject to waivers and was rerouted to the practice squad upon his return. Seattle expects him to make a significant impact on kick and punt returns, areas where he is highly regarded.\n\nWith starting linebacker Drake Thomas (ankle) and Chazz Surratt (chest) sidelined, the Seahawks faced a thin defense. Jimmy Ciarlo, an undrafted third-year linebacker from Army, was acquired by the Jets in 2024. He missed the entirety of his rookie season due to a knee injury and was released in May 2025. Before signing with the Seahawks on September 30, Ciarlo had stints with the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and Tennessee Titans. His elevation from the practice squad is a logical move considering the need for additional defensive talent on the team.",
