"summary": "President Donald Trump addressed a Michigan synagogue on Wednesday evening via video, as part of an event organized by Leo Terrell, chair of the administration's task force for combating antisemitism, and the Zionist Organization of America. The event, which was attended by around 500 Jews, came amid a pivotal Senate election in Michigan that has raised concerns among the state's Jewish population. Trump praised Terrell, stating that he \"speaks for our country\" and \"speaks for a lot of people who love Israel but really, more than anything else, they don't want to see false and inaccurate statements made about antisemitism.\" The event, billed as the first stop on Terrell's \"American Tour Against Hate,\" was also a fundraiser for the ZOA and featured several other Trump officials emphasizing the administration's efforts to combat antisemitism. Progressive-leaning Michigan Jewish leaders criticized the event, accusing the Trump administration of politicizing antisemitism and potentially fueling division within the Jewish community.",
