"account": "Montreal Alouettes linebacker Geoffrey Cantin-Arku received the Jake Gaudaur Veterans’ Award on Thursday. The annual award, valued at $205.00 plus GST for one year, is presented to a CFL player who exemplifies the virtues of Canada’s veterans, such as strength, perseverance, courage, comradeship, and community service. The honour recognizes Cantin-Arku for his leadership and character on the field, as well as his compassionate efforts in the community. Head coach Jason Maas revealed the award to Cantin-Arku at a practice, accompanied by family members. CFL Commissioner Stewart Johnston praised the linebacker for his exemplary leadership and community involvement, particularly through the founding of the GCA Football Camp Academy and his participation in the Purolator Tackle Hunger program.",
