"account": "The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) and the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission have intensified their efforts to combat drug trafficking through Ghana's postal and courier services. The collaboration aims to tighten security, improve drug detection, and promote a drug-free society in Ghana. Major General Maxwell Obuba Mantey, NACOC Director-General, affirmed NACOC's commitment to supporting the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission through technical assistance, training, and intelligence gathering.\n\nThe partnership addresses concerns over the growing use of digital platforms for drug trafficking and the exploitation of courier and postal service providers. Major General Mantey emphasized the need for a coordinated response to combat drug trafficking networks involving multiple connections. The Acting Executive Secretary of the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission, Cosmas Anpengnuo, welcomed the renewed collaboration and highlighted recent enhancements in traceability mechanisms and an application programming interface (API) integration platform. Non-compliance with the API integration system could result in the denial or non-renewal of courier and postal service providers' licenses.",
