"account": "The Keralam Police registered a zero FIR on Thursday in response to allegations that National Student Union of India (NSUI) activist Athira C was assaulted by police during a protest in New Delhi. The zero FIR, lodged at the Museum police station in Thiruvananthapuram city limits, invokes several provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita relating to assault and criminal force against a woman, causing grievous hurt, wrongful restraint, and criminal intimidation. According to the FIR, Athira was wrongfully restrained, verbally abused, threatened, and assaulted while participating in a protest in Delhi's Connaught Place on Tuesday against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. She claims she was brutally assaulted inside a police van and later at the police station, where women police personnel allegedly dragged her along the road and slapped her in the face.",
